Churchwide Events
We encourage everyone to participate in these events to get to know each other outside of the worship services.
FELLOWSHIP MEALS
On the first Sunday of every month, we have a fellowship meal after the morning service. Each family is asked to bring a main dish and a side dish. Please check the calendar for the next scheduled Fellowship Meal, as the dates may fluctuate due to other events.
FALL RETREAT
Each year, our church hosts an annual fall retreat at White Sulphur Springs in Manns Choice, Pennsylvania. Our goal is to have this be a time to connect away from the busy lives we all lead in a relaxed atmosphere. We encourage everyone in our congregation to come for a time of fellowship, worship, and refreshment. All meals are prepared and served by the staff at White Sulphur Springs, allowing time for everyone to connect.
The church has a talent show on Saturday night during the retreat. People of all ages participate in various acts, including singing, sketches, poem reading, storytelling, dancing, and musical performances (such as violin, piano, guitar, etc.). It is one of the most entertaining highlights of church life during the year.
ANNUAL CHURCH PICNIC
We host our annual church picnic in early summer, and it is open to our NEIGHBORS. We enjoy a great time of GAMES, FOOD, FUN and FELLOWSHIP!
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS)
Every summer, we host a weeklong VBS in the evenings for our children (kindergarten to rising sixth graders), friends, and neighbors to be nurtured in God’s Word through teaching, music, games, and food. ANNUAL WORKDAY
Every Spring, we have a workday to get our property and building in order. There are landscaping jobs, maintenance jobs, and fellowship. The church also provides lunch (usually hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill). Check out the calendar for the next scheduled workday.
